Danny Philip Morris

Danny Philip Morris, a loving husband and father, went home to be with the Lord on Friday, June 11th, 2021. Danny was born on August 5, 1963, to Leroy Phillip and Lela Faye Morris, in Woodson Texas. Danny was a proud big brother to his younger sister, Darla Jo Morris. Danny graduated from Woodson High School in 1981. He married Leslie Ann Babcock, and together they had three beautiful children. In 1999, Danny married the love of his life, Janice Marie Hillis. In 2014, Danny and Janice moved to Janice’s home village in British Columbia, Canada, to follow the leading of the Lord. There, they found compassion in fostering children in need. Together, they adopted three children and fostered many more. Danny loved all his children, but most of all he loved the Lord. Danny was an ordained minister and had a passion for spreading the love of Jesus. Danny is preceded in death by his father, Leroy, and younger sister Darla Jo. He is survived by his wife, Janice Morris, his mother Lela Faye Morris, daughter Danielle Rodriguez and husband Rolando, son Justin Morris and wife Janna, daughter Jennifer Ordonez and husband Kevin, grandson Asher, and three beautiful granddaughters, Isabella, Sophia, and Evelyn, with more grandchildren to come. A memorial service will be held Saturday, June 26th, 2021, at 11 am, at the First Baptist Church, in Woodson Texas.
