Two Throckmorton County youth recently competed in the District III 4H Horse Show held at NRS in Decatur. On the left is Claire Ellis of Woodson and on the right is Riggin Brents of Throckmorton. Ellis competed in halter, stock horse trail, stock horse pleasure and stock horse horsemanship, placing 4th in the horsemanship. Brents placed 3rd in stock horse trail, 2nd in cutting, 1st in stock horse pleasure, 1st in stock horse horsemanship, 1st in stock horse working cow, and 1st in reining! He also participated in sorting and boxing. All of Brents’ placing earned him the title of all around for the week! Congratulations, Riggin!
