Bobby Jerl Horry, 58, a resident of Throckmorton, TX, passed away Sunday, September 5, 2021. A graveside service will be held at 11:00AM, Friday, September 10, 2021 at the Throckmorton, TX, Cemetery under the direction of Smith Family Funeral Homes. A visitation was planned from 6:00-7:00PM, Thursday, September 9, 2021, at the funeral home, 107 N Austin, Throckmorton, TX. Bobby Jerl Horry was born March 2, 1963 in Los Angeles, California to Modena (Ash) and Jerry Horry. Bobby grew up in Woodson, lived in Stephenville, and recently moved back to the Throckmorton area. He loved playing golf, gardening, cooking and fishing. He is survived by his son, Bradley Horry and spouse Lorren of Quanah; expected grandchild, Whitten Horry; fiancee, Terri Bibb Allen of Graham; brother, J.Rob Horry and Angie Massey of Austin; numerous nieces, great nieces, nephews and cousins.
