Kelley Don Harrington

Kelley Don Harrington, 50 of Seymour, passed away Friday, September 10, 2021. Visitation was from 6:00 until 8:00 p.m., Tuesday, September 14, 2021 at Seymour Memorial Funeral Home. Services was held on Wednesday, September 15, 2021 at 10:00 a.m. at the First Baptist Church in Seymour with Dr. David Warren, officiating. Burial was at Riverview cemetery, under the direction of Seymour Memorial Funeral Home. Kelley was born June 25, 1971 in Wichita Falls, Texas to Donnie and Trellis Sue Harrington. He was a 1989 graduate of Seymour High School and a member of First Baptist Church, Seymour. Kelley married Shalay Cowles on June 29, 2002. He was a lifelong resident of Seymour. After graduating High School, Kelley followed in his dad’s footsteps and began working as an oilfield pumper. He also farmed and ranched alongside his dad. In 2001, Kelley took on another task to his already busy life and became a heavy equipment operator. Kelley knew no other life than work. His work ethics were impeccable. He spent many long hours in the oilfield, farming and pushing dirt around but always managed to make time for his family and friends, especially his niece Breanna, supporting her in her many school activities. Kelley is survived by his wife, Shalay Harrington, parents, Donnie and Trellis Sue Harrington, sister, Suzanne Shumate and beloved niece, Breanna Shumate, all of Seymour. He is also survived by many loving aunts, uncles and cousins. Kelley was preceded in death by his grandparents, J.E. and Rada Holman and Willie and Juanita Harrington.
