John Morrow

John Morrow, age 62 of Throckmorton, passed away Thursday, October 7, 2021. Funeral services were held at 1pm, Thursday, October 14th at Happy Wife Happy Life Events Venue with Pastor Paul Johnston. Burial followed in the Albany Cemetery under the direction of Morehart Mortuary. Visitation was held from 5pm to 7pm, Wednesday, October 13th at Happy Wife Happy Life Events Venue. John Horton Morrow was born June 13, 1959 in Abilene, Texas to Wayne Morrow and Frances Free Morrow. John worked for WTU and then for AT&T for over 20 years until he retired. John was a member of the Shifter’s Car Club in Albany and a Mason. John had a passion for motorcycles and there is no doubt that he’s riding along the golden streets of Heaven now. He was preceded in death by his parents, Wayne and Frances Morrow. John is survived by his two children, Jeremy Morrow and wife Kayleen of Victoria and Amanda Morrow of Clyde; one brother, Wayne “Eddie” Morrow; two grandchildren, Jude Morrow, Shae Fite; four nieces, Jessica Dickson, Allie Morrow, Tori Morrow, Kaci Ward and husband Roston; and numerous friends. A special thanks to Cinde Williams for taking care of John during his final days. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Fellowship of Christian Athletes and may be left at Morehart Mortuary.
