In correlation with their studies in English, the Woodson Sophomore Class took a field trip to Abilene, to the 12th Armored Division Memorial Museum, where they saw photos, gained information, and examined paraphernalia from WWII. The 12th was responsible for crossing the river into Germany, and helped to liberate Landburg concentration camp, which was a part of Dauchau.
